On our last feature for Black History Month we visited Red Rooster Overtown,which used to be Clyde Killens Pool Hall.

Today we honored Miami PD’s 1st black female office, Major Carolyn Clarke,
with a #blackhistorymonth
celebration. Her accomplishments have paved the way for later generations. 🥰

The Dorsey House was built in 1915 by Miami’s 1st black millionaire. During Black History Month,
they have an exhibit called “In Motion”, displaying different migration routes.
